Children’s Ministry Fall events
Hello everyone! Can you believe it is October already? Time does fly when you are having fun!
We have several events this month for all members of our congregation.
Sunday school is every Sunday between first and second service.
Let us know if you will be joining us and/or if you would like to help teach a class or two!
Family Game Night will be on Oct. 6 and 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Family game night is for all ages.
You are all a part of our St. Paul family; we would love to have you! There will be several board games and card games available to play or bring your own and teach us how to play! This is a great time for all to get to know each other better and build strong relationships too.
We are thrilled to start our Youth Group meetings again.
On every other Wednesday, starting October 13 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Connect Center, we will play a few games, get to know each other, and talk about how our faith can help us confidently walk through whatever life throws at us. On October 13, we will share with you some of our experiences that made National Youth Gathering is so important and such a blast for us!
LCMS retreat at Camp Lutherwood
On the weekend of Oct 15-17, Pastor Don and a few of our youth will head down to a special LCMS retreat at Camp Lutherwood. Focus in on the disciples after the resurrection and before Pentecost. Each day we look to the news and say: āWhatās going on?ā and we get down. As opposed to looking to God and finding hope. The disciples are hiding, retreating, and being refilled before going out again. Please keep them all in your prayers this weekend.
Trunk or Treat
On October 31, we will be having the first Trunk or Treat event for our congregation family and the Preschool families. If you are new to Trunk or Treating, it is a modern tradition in which kids go ātrick or treatingā car to car instead of house to house in our parking lot. We invite any church member who would like to join in on the fun to sign up!
Decorate the back of your car to offer a fun place for the children to stop and receive a treat from you. Bring your own pre-packaged candy or treats, and dress up if you like to as well. There are prizes for the top three best-decorated trunks! Vehicles can start setting up at 3 pm and the trunk or treating begins at 4 pm.
